Photography is my passion, I tend to see everything with an artistic flare, an old lock on a cemetery gate, a window overgrown by ivy in an abandoned building, a crack in an old barn door.  It's all art to me.  I'm a self taught photographer, still learning every day and having fun trying to crack the secrets of photo editing programs.

I love nothing more than going into my backyard and taking a photo of a new bloom. I also love to photograph animals, not as cooperative as plant life, but just as fun. Children are a pure joy to photograph and seem to beam in the presence of my camera, again, not as cooperative as plant life, but fun none the less. I have loved to draw, paint & create ever since I was a small child. My dream job would be to travel the world just taking photos of people, places and things. The love for nature is ingrained in my DNA and I love to capture it's beauty and share it with others.

I love seeing DiEtte's creations and have several of her works in my home.  They are bright and full of life and her attention to detail is amazing, you feel like you are inside the image itself.

DiEtte also explores a more whimsical side of reality in her “Whimsy” Collection of painted artwork, that incorporates nature as one might see it from the eyes of a child. Amongst other subjects, this collection includes insects, birds and flowers that effortlessly leap off the pages they are painted on and burst into life . These pieces combine a mesmerizing spray of color mixed with a balance of personality-infused characters that remain imprinted on your mind, long after viewing them.
