Growing up in rural Minnesota and during her many “out-door” vacations with her family as a child, DiEtte began an early progression towards the miracle and fleeting beauty that is nature. She attended a Community College near her home town in the mid 80’s where, amongst other things, she enrolled in art and photography classes. After several career choices, she was called back to a field involving one of her passions. Children. Currently she provides care for the children of several families, while pursuing her love of photography and artistic creation. Children and nature are two of the mediums that appeal highly to DiEtte’s sense of photographic preservation. She skillfully catches those seconds in life that would otherwise go unnoticed as we speed quickly on our way. Her sense of exploration and intuitive instinct allow her to capture these moments and preserve them in photographic form for others to enjoy.

To stop and smell a full-bloom flower is to live. To capture that flower in photographic form and smell its intoxicating perfume long after the blossom has faded back into the earth…that is living!
